Ebony SC repeat as BAS Cup ChampsPosted on October 19, 2025October 20, 2025 by Brampton Adult Soccer0 After 20 intense weeks of competition, Ebony SC has successfully defended their title and are once again the BAS Cup Champions, defeating Alliance FC 3–2 in one of the most exciting finals in Brampton Soccer history. The final was already historic before kickoff. For the first time ever, a Masters division team — Alliance FC — made it to the BAS Cup Final after an undefeated season, an unprecedented feat that captured the attention and respect of players and fans across the league. But Ebony SC came into the match with experience, hunger, and a championship pedigree. They wasted no time. Jordon Smith converted a penalty kick within the first five minutes, giving Ebony the early lead. Midway through the half, Tyricke Harrison doubled the score with a well-placed finish after a swift counterattack. Moments before halftime, Darren Chambers — last year’s MVP — added a third, sending Ebony into the break with a commanding 3–0 lead and it looked like the rout was on. But Alliance FC refused to roll over. In the second half, Kegan Brackett and Merrick Daley Jr. each scored to pull the score back to 3–2, turning the final into a nail-biter. Alliance pushed hard for the equalizer in the closing minutes, but Ebony’s composed back line and disciplined midfield held strong under pressure. The match ended 3–2, and Ebony SC were crowned BAS Cup Champions once again — officially beginning what many are calling the start of a dynasty. Tyricke Harrison was named Match MVP, not only for his goal but for his commanding presence in midfield. His ability to control tempo, recover possession, and initiate counterattacks made him a standout in a high-pressure game. With back-to-back championships and a growing reputation and trophy cabinet, Ebony SC is now the team to beat in the BAS — and their sights are clearly set on a three-peat.
