Roster Invite Tokens

Description

Team Reps can purchase additional BAS Roster Invite Tokens allowing you to invite more players than the default number assigned per team.

Invite tokens are auto-generated once payment has been confirmed. If you pay via eTransfer the tokens will be generated once BAS has accepted your etransfer.

All other registration rules apply. Players can only accept invitations when the registration portal is active as it shuts down on Fridays at approximately noon so that BAS can upload registrations to Ontario Soccer.  Players must be eligible via their age and gender for the programs they’re registering for.  Players must have an approved Profile Photo to appear on gamesheets. As always do not wait until the last minute to add a player to your roster.

What is a Roster Invite Token?
Roster Invite Tokens are essentially invitation slots for adding players to a BAS team.  BAS bases it’s team fees on a fixed amount of players per team, varying from indoor to outdoor sessions.  If you need more players than the fixed amount you can purchase additional slots.

Why does BAS charge for additional players?
Every player registered on a team in BAS is registered with Peel-Halton Soccer Association (PHSA) and Ontario Soccer (OS) as a requirement of BAS’ sanctioning.  BAS pays a fee for each player registered and the only reason we charge a fee for extra roster invites is to cover the cost of the fees paid to OS via PHSA.

Why would a team need additional Roster Invite Tokens?
Additional Roster Invite Tokens are useful for many reasons including, but not exclusive to, injuries, vacations, unexpected absences, players changing their mind about participating, a desire to improve, etc.  The concept of BAS’ Roster Invite Tokens serves the single purpose of ensuring that every team has every opportunity to continue participating regardless of what unforeseen circumstances may arise through the course of a season.
