Brampton Adult Soccer Brings Back the Hattrick Hall of Fame

The Brampton Adult Soccer Hattrick Hall of Fame is back! After more than 15 years, BAS is bringing back one of its most legendary traditions. Starting July 1st, players who score a hattrick in league play will earn a BAS Bucket Hat and a place in club history, so dust off the history books and alert the goalkeepers.

Since 1998, BAS has grown from a handful of pickup players into one of the region’s premier adult soccer organizations, creating thousands of memorable moments on and off the pitch. Along the way, we’ve witnessed spectacular goals, dramatic comebacks, and more than a few players who insisted they “meant to do that.”

Now it’s time to reward the deadliest finishers among us.

Starting July 1st, any BAS player who scores a hattrick in league play will earn their very own BAS Bucket Hat and a place in Hattrick Hall of Fame glory (while supplies last).

Three goals. One game. Instant BAS folklore.

Not exactly a clinical finisher? Was your last “hattrick” polishing off three “beverages” at halftime? Fear not—you can still win a hat.

Simply send an email to info@bramptonsoccer.com with the subject line: HATTRICK CONTEST and correctly identify the 10 BAS snipers from yesteryear featured in our mystery challenge below and you’ll be entered into a draw for your very own BAS Bucket Hat.

Official Hattrick Hall of Fame Rules

(As approved by absolutely nobody.)

1. The clock is ticking.
The contest begins on July 1st and runs until the last bucket hat leaves the BAS vault. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

2. One head. One hat.
Participants are eligible for one hat only. Being selfish in front of goal may help your team, but even if you’re scoring hattricks every week, you’re only getting one bucket hat.

3. No drive-thru hat service.
Hats will not be awarded immediately after your third goal. Your prize will be presented at a future BAS match, allowing maximum time for anticipation, celebration, and teammates demanding post-game beverages.

4. Fame comes at a price.
All winners will have their photo taken wearing their BAS Bucket Hat and will be immortalized in the Hattrick Hall of Fame for future generations to admire, question, and envy.

5. Trust the hat.
The BAS Bucket Hat is officially one size fits all. Your head might have grown a few sizes from all the goals you’ve been scoring, but we promise the hat will still fit.

6. Nice try, Board Members.
Members of the BAS Board are not eligible for this contest. Somebody has to maintain the appearance of integrity around here.

7. Odds of winning.
Who the hell knows? Seriously. The odds depend on how many hats are left, how many hattricks get scored, and how many people enter the contest. We make no promises other than this: if you don’t score three goals or enter the contest, your chances are exactly zero.
