Winter 2023 Action Kicks Off

The BAS Winter 2023 Session kicked off this weekend with women’s action on Friday. Holders, Antilleans SC were held to a 3-3 drew versus a revitalized Amigas FC side while Ultimate Warriors struggled against Fall Finalists, BFC.

On Sunday, the Men’s Open Age Champs, AC Canucks squeaked by tough rivals, Gabroo FC in a 5-4 thriller. Masters Finalists, Lynx FC suffered a loss in their inaugural Div A match, losing to perennial threat C4N, 7-3.

We were pleased to welcome five new teams for Winter ’23. United Warriors, Suave City FC, Sikh Sports Club, and United West FC all entered the adult soccer in Brampton fray on Sunday, while the final new squad, Retired Ballers FC enjoyed a Week 1 bye. We salute all new teams and wish them the best of luck in the Winter 2023 Session.

In other fixtures, stalwarts: Absolute FC, K & L Armada, Socceroos, and Dashmesh FC all made their presence known with convincing Week 1 wins.
