Founded in the summer of 2012, Dashmesh FC was born from a chance meeting at a practice between Dharminder and Kulwant, who shared a passion for soccer and a vision for building something special. Fast forward to today, and the club has become a BAS mainstay, with 12+ seasons under their belts — and counting.
Dashmesh FC made their proudest mark in Winter 2025, capturing the indoor season title in a fierce final against rivals GNFC, courtesy of Sukhi's game winning goal. It wasn’t just a win — it was a moment so intense that BAS had to arrange for security to manage the crowd.
But Dashmesh FC is more than just results. The team proudly reflects the diversity of Brampton, with Jamaican, Indian, and non-Indian players playing together for years without issue — a testament to the team's no-hate, no-racism culture. They deeply believe in respecting veteran players while welcoming the next generation of talent (Dashmesh Lions) with open arms.
Their playing style? In a word: skilled.Led by captain Dharminder, a powerhouse holding midfielder who anchors the game, the squad blends sharp footwork with composure and grit. Their MVP, Parminder "CR7", might miss a few sitters, but his passion and flair are undeniable. Meanwhile, Richard and Kevin are nearly automatic on the scoresheet, and fans love watching Eddy unleash thunderous shots that echo shades of Roberto Carlos.
Before each match, the team comes together in prayer, centering themselves before battle. Off the pitch, Harjot (Baba Ji) keeps the vibes high as the team’s resident joker and hype man.
Dashmesh FC is known for its legendary goat meat BBQs, held at Fortel Warehouse to cap every season. There’s also plenty of bonding on road trips, including team tours to Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury. Whether it’s a casual hangout or a tournament weekend, camaraderie is at the heart of everything they do.
They call themselves the Real Madrid of BAS — and not without reason. A mix of swagger, tradition, and silverware, Dashmesh FC believes that with a full roster showing up, the BAS Cup is theirs to win.
Their motto is simple:"Respect all teammates. Help each other on and off the field."A team with heart, heritage, and high hopes — Dashmesh FC isn’t just playing the game. They’re shaping what it means to be a BAS team.
