Survey for Women in SoccerPosted on October 10, 2023November 15, 2023 by Brampton Adult Soccer0 Canada Soccer is committed to promoting gender equity in the sport of soccer, and is currently working on a new strategy to foster more opportunities, support, and recognition for women and girls in the community. To ensure that this strategy is inclusive and effective, Canada Soccer is seeking input from the very people who will be impacted by it – women and girls who are part of the soccer community. An online survey is now live and will be available until October 26, and all responses will be completely anonymous. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and will ask questions about your experiences and insights as a woman or girl in soccer. Your input is invaluable, and will help shape the future of soccer in Canada. Canada Soccer recognizes that women and girls have historically faced barriers to participation and success in soccer, and that these barriers must be addressed in order to create a more inclusive and equitable sport. By hearing directly from women and girls, Canada Soccer can gain a deeper understanding of these barriers, and work to break them down. By participating in the survey, you will be helping to shape the future of soccer in Canada, and ensuring that the sport is more inclusive and equitable for all. Your voice matters, and Canada Soccer wants to hear from you. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make your voice heard! In addition to the survey, Canada Soccer is also hosting a series of focus groups and roundtable discussions with women and girls across the country. These sessions will provide a safe and inclusive space for women and girls to share their experiences and ideas, and will help inform the development of the new strategy. Canada Soccer is committed to creating a sport that is inclusive and equitable for all, and is working hard to ensure that women and girls have equal opportunities to participate and succeed in soccer. By participating in the survey and other engagement opportunities, you can help make a difference and ensure that the sport of soccer is a place where everyone can thrive. Take the Survey now.
