Athlete Study Recruitment

Participate in Our Athlete Study

Attention athletes aged 17 and older! We invite you to take part in an important athlete study aimed at understanding key factors that influence team dynamics and individual experiences in sports. The study involves reading and completing an informed consent letter, which will take approximately 5 minutes, followed by a brief questionnaire package that will take around 15 minutes to complete.

Purpose of the Athlete Study

The primary goal of this virtual athlete study is to explore various aspects related to team sports, specifically focusing on perceived ethnic dissimilarity within the group, team cohesion, and athletes’ intentions to return for the following season. Your insights will contribute significantly to our understanding of how these factors affect not only individual athletes but also overall team performance.

As part of the questionnaire, you will be asked to provide some demographic information, including your age, gender, ethnicity, and duration of time spent on the team. This data will help us analyze trends and patterns among diverse athlete populations.

Confidentiality and Voluntary Participation

Participation in this athlete study is entirely voluntary and your responses will remain confidential. Your privacy is our top priority, and all data collected will be used solely for research purposes. This study has been rigorously reviewed and approved by the Laurier Research Ethics Board (Approval #7186), ensuring that it meets the highest ethical standards.
