For several games now, as an emergency replacement striker for Forge FC with Terran Campbell and Jordan Hamilton both recovering from injuries, Poku has been racking up goals despite the fact that he’s regularly played out wide in defensive roles. Brampton Soccer’s Kwasi Poku Scores a CanChamp Winner Within 5 minutes as Badibanga put Forge FC 1:0 up over TFC in the first leg of their CanChamp semi-final, Tristan Borges and David Choiniere combined for some clever interplay before Choiniere squared a ball for Brampton Soccer’s Poku which he audaciously backheeled past TFC’s Luka Gavran. Forge FC have already knocked the Club Impact de Montreal out of the Canadian Championship and now go into the second leg of the Semi-Final with a 2:1 lead over a struggling TFC. Poku’s 2nd Half Brace against Pacific FC Within the same calendar week, Forge travelled to Langford, BC on Vancouver Island and were hosted by Pacific FC in regularly scheduled Canadian Premier League play. The match was guaranteed to be tight as both of these past CPL Championship teams chase afte Atletico Ottawa who currently sit atop the table. Brampton Soccer’s Kwasi Poku scored goals at the start and end of the 2nd half. The first of his brace cancelling out Sellouf’s goal for Pacific and his second securing all three points for Forge FC.
