2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Highlights & Recap

On Sunday, January 19th, 2025 the Brampton Adult Soccer Fall 2024 Indoor Soccer Session came to a close in a festival of high stakes matches.

2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Division A Final

Dashmesh Lions FC (1st) hosted United Warriors (2nd) in the division final but fell behind early on as United Warriors took the initial lead with a strike from the top of the box. Dashmesh Lions brought the score level with some clever play from the left and at 1:1 the intensity of the match simply increased.

The Lions quickly led with a far post tap in at 2:1 and from there on the 250+ in attendance were treated to goal keeping acrobatics and near misses.

At the start of the 2nd half Dashmesh Lions extended their lead and the match looked to be in the bag. At 3:1, surely this cagey end to end match was won.

But then Efe Eyubeh decided it was time to sway the tide. His 3 consecutive, unanswered goals put United Warriors up 4:3. The tide had well and truly turned. Eyubeh then turned provider from a kick in setting up the 5th and final goal for Hakeem Bailey.

United Warriors were then crowned the 2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Division A Champions.

2025 Indoor Women’s All-Star Match

The first ever BAS Women’s Indoor All-Star match took place between the Men’s Masters and Division A final where the growing crowd, about 200+ people, were entertained by our women’s league stars which comprised 5 goals total in the 3:2 match and some stylish and tricky footwork from Kick’s n’ Giggles FC Ingrid Rodriguez.

2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Mens’ Masters Final

Dashmesh FC (1st) defeated GNFC (2nd) 3:2 in the 2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Men’s Masters Final where Richard West, playing in his first of two games that day (he also later played for Dashmesh Lions FC in the Division A final), added another goal to his historic goalscoring tally in BAS. (We’ve lost track of how many goals Mr. West has scored over the years.)

This was Dashmesh’s 6th Indoor Soccer Playoff Championship.

2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Division B Final

The Division B Men’s Final went into extra time with newcomers, Spartans FC, coming out as the eventual 4:3 winners over Banter Lads. Spartans had topped the regular season standings with Banter Lads placing 3rd overall behind K&L Armada. Nithin Sunny and Surbinson Suresh Bindhu grabbed a brace of goals each for Spartans.

2024 Fall Indoor Soccer Women’s Final

Back on Friday, January 10th, 2025, our Women’s Final took place where Rebelle FC, who topped the table edging out Vagabonds FC by a single point, ended up defeating Vagabonds FC 2:1 to claim the title.

Goals from Lucia Valdez and Kyra Dickinson sealed the deal for Rebelle FC.
